Woman in critical condition after hammer attack in Queens

On Thursday night around 11:30pm, a female was leaving from work to home when she was attacked by a suspect with a hammer. Then the suspect took off with the female's purse. This is at the Queens Plaza station in Long Island City.

The female, 57 years old is in critical condition at a local hospital.

So far no arrest and the investigation is ongoing.
