Walk or bike and sit do nothing is expanding in NYC

Western Queens did it with more spaces for walking and biking.

Now to the rest of Queens.

Then walk or bike around the five boroughs. Yay!

The NYC Dept of Transportation announced more greenway paths and spaces for all to walk, bike and sit around to do nothing but relax.

The biggest lot announced in Astoria is Halletts Point Waterfront Esplanade, a new relaxing spot with the view of Manhattan from the 60,000 square feet area costing a cool billion dollars which started in 2012 with an affordable housing program.

This was a former industrial land now converted into housing and open spaces. Even better, take a ferry to midtown or downtown instead of subways.

Coming back to the greenways, NYC now has over 500 miles all around for walking and relaxing since biking is very tiresome.

The current development for Queens is Hunters Point South Park under the Queensboro Bridge to Alley Pond Park, then to Brookfield Park and to Highland Park.

Learn to bike and walk for the future.
