Come to Jamaica the new slogan heating up

Today, the City Planning Commission approved the Jamaica Neighborhood Plan to create up to 12,000 units as part of the affordable housing. The same plan was already approved by the Community Boards and the Borough President. Now it will go to the City Council starting next month for a vote with public hearings.

The plan also includes $300 million for sewer and open space upgrades along with 7,000 new jobs.

Jamaica is now on a booming roll to gentrification by replacing residential homes into apartment towers to cater to the new demographics.

Check with your local part time City Council member for the dates for the hearings.

Jamaica is the next rising location with Babylon like towers connecting to the JFK and LGA. Then to Manhattan.
