Four separate homicide investigations in Queens

The NYPD reported three separate murders in Queens yesterday alone. The first incident was in Richmond Hill in the vicinity of 97th Avenue and 103rd Street that occurred around 8pm.

Police have one in custody under questioning.

The same night around 9pm, the NYPD were called to Far Rockaways reporting a male shot dead. This is in the vicinity of Beach 115th Street.

Last night, a pedestrian was struck on Union Turnpike near 188 Street in Fresh Meadows and later died at the hospital. The driver remained on the scene continue to cooperate with the police.

This morning around 2:30am, the NYPD were called to Springfield Gardens reporting a hit and run with one dead. This is in the vicinity of 155th Street and South Conduit Avenue near the JFK and Belt Parkway. This was the 17th death involving vehicles in Queens alone for this year.

All incidents remain under investigation.
