Two teens arrested for stabbing in Manhasset train station

Third Squad detectives report the arrest of two juveniles for an incident that occurred on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 3:40 pm in Manhasset. According to detectives, while at the LIRR Manhasset train station and during an attempt to purchase drugs from two juvenile subjects, ages 16 and 17, the victim, also 17, was assaulted by the 16 year old with a knife, causing him to suffer severe lacerations to both of his hands. The subjects then took $30 from the victim and left the scene. 911 was contacted and a short time later both subjects were located and placed under arrest. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Both juveniles are charged with Assault 1st Degree and Robbery 1st Degree. They are due to respond to Family Court, Westbury on 1/18/2020. (From NCPD)
