Troop F CSU arrests cchenectady man for cocaine possession

On August 7, 2025, at approximately 4:04 p.m., members of the Troop F Community Stabilization Unit (CSU) observed a 2011 BMW traveling northbound on Interstate 87 in the town of Plattekill, NY, in violation of multiple New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws.

A traffic stop was initiated, and troopers interviewed the driver, a 33-year-old male, and the front seat passenger, Keita Williams, age 54, both of Schenectady, NY.

During the investigation, K9 Kell conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert for the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of Williams revealed approximately 104 grams of cocaine. A search of the vehicle yielded no additional contraband.

Williams was arraigned on August 8, 2025, at the Ulster County Centralized Arraignment Part and remanded to Ulster County Jail, pending a future court appearance.
