Traffic stop leads to narcotics arrest in village of catskill

On August 8, 2025, at approximately 10:22 p.m., troopers out of State Police Catskill observed a 2016 Subaru operating in violation of New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law on West Main Street in the village of Catskill.

A traffic stop was initiated, and troopers interviewed the sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Michael Hollywood, age 39, of Coxsackie, NY. During the investigation, a search of Hollywood was conducted, which yielded illegal narcotics on his person.
