State Police arrest four for felony drug possession following menands traffic stop

On August 7, 2025, State Police of New Scotland arrested Alhousseiny Bah, 31 of New York, NY, Hadja Z. Bah, 23 of Brooklyn, NY, Mamadou A. Balde, and Mamadou O. Diallo, 28 of St. Albans, NY each for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree.

Diallo was also charged with Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the third degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree, and numerous Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

On August 7, 2025, at about 12:29 a.m. Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling Northbound on I-787 in Menands, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The vehicle being driven by Diallo failed to comply and a pursuit was initiated. Diallo continued to operate the vehicle recklessly for approximately two miles before coming to a stop at which time Diallo was taken into custody. A. Bah, H. Bah, and Balde were identified as passengers in the vehicle. Further investigation led to the seizure of a controlled substance that later field-tested positive for cocaine, packaged in multiple individual plastic bags from within the vehicle.
