Tickets are now available for the US Open in Flushing

Queens is on a roll especially in the Flushing Meadows Corona Park vicinity. The next major event, the US Open is all set for international sports of love set for August 24 to September 7 at Louis Armstrong Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Starhub.com is the best place to get tickets and it's open for all to purchase. The average cost for the first round is $150 per person.

Recently, Arthur Ashe Stadium, the US Open's showcase court, is set to be expanded as part of an $800m renovation project at Flushing Meadows, the United States Tennis Association announced. The USTA has described the proposed work as the "largest single investment in US Open history".

With the new soccer stadium, greenery park, CitiField and with the prediction of a casino, the next in line is hotels.

The more hotels, the more events all year around.

Move over UBS Arena areas, Flushing is working to grab the top spot.
