State Police investigate apparent suicide in Monroe NY

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 4:01 a.m., troopers from the State Police barracks in Middletown responded to a residence on Crabapple Lane in the town of Wallkill for a report of a missing person.

The investigation determined that the victim, a 32-year-old male, had not been heard from since the morning of May 24, 2025. During the course of the investigation, the lead investigator located the victim deceased inside his vehicle at a park and ride located on Orange and Rockland Road in Monroe, NY.

The preliminary findings at the scene are consistent with suicide.

The investigation remains ongoing.
