IDENTIFIED NYSP seeking publics assistance in identifying person who damaged property in Tompkins county

Update: The person has been identified.

Original Release: The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Ithaca is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this male who was operating a Ford Bronco in early May.

On May 1, 2025, between 6:38 p.m. and 6:49 p.m. the suspect appears to have been "off-roading" in the Bronco and caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to approximately 1,500 feet of property at a location off Dryden Road in the town of Dryden. The suspect was last seen traveling north on State Route 13 toward Dryden.

The Ford Bronco is red in color, appears to have its front license plate on the dashboard and has the ability to remove the front portion of the roof.  The male is described to be light skinned, with dark hair, a mustache and was wearing a black t-shirt.
