State Police arrest Monsey man for DWI with children in the vehicle

On July 5, 2025, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Troopers from SP Tarrytown conducted a traffic stop on a 2025 Acura traveling southbound on I-87 in the town of Clarkstown for speeding.

The driver, identified as Robens Altidor, 36, of Monsey, exhibited signs of intoxication while being interviewed by Troopers. Standardized field sobriety tests were administered, which Altidor failed. Further investigation revealed a 16-year-old, 11-year-old and 4-year-old were also present in the vehicle. The children were safely released to a sober third party.
