Lake Placid male arrested for burglary 3rd

On July 7, 2025, members of the New York State Police arrested Devin F. Brockway, age 31, from Lake Placid, NY, on charges of third-degree burglary and criminal mischief.

On July 6, 2025, at approximately 10:51 p.m., Troopers responded to Depot Street in the village of Burke for a burglary complaint. An investigation revealed that Brockway unlawfully entered a property without permission. During this unauthorized entry, he damaged a door to gain access and took several items that did not belong to him.
