State Police arrest Hogansburg man and seize 150 pounds of cannabis during Clifton Park traffic stop

On April 27, 2026, State Police assigned to the Troop G Community Stabilization Unit arrested Louie J. Diabo, 19, of Hogansburg, NY, for Criminal Possession of Cannabis 1st, a class “D” felony, and vehicle and traffic law violations.

On April 27, 2026, at about 4:00 p.m., troopers stopped a vehicle driven by Diabo on Interstate 87 in Clifton Park for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation discovered and seized approximately 150 pounds of cannabis in vacuum-sealed bags within the vehicle.

Diabo was arrested and transported to SP Latham for processing.
