Queens is on hot vigilance after three robberies

Police reported three robberies in various parts of Queens. The first incident was reported in Flushing where a woman was beaten and robbed around 2am on December 15 on Booth Memorial Avenue and 153rd Street in Flushing. The victim, a 44 year old home health aide was returning home when she saw a vehicle double parked with lights out. Shortly, the suspect ran over the victim by reversing and beat her. Then took off with the victims belonging. Around 4am, a suspect broke into a home in Jamaica where all were sleeping. This is on 107th Avenue and 155 Street. When the man woke up from sleep, he was slashed in the face. From there, the suspect took off and the man chased with a bat. Police arrested a 17 year old and confirmed the credit cards found in the possession belong to the female victim who was attacked earlier in Flushing. On December 16 around 10:30pm,police reported home invasion at Elks Road near 79th Avenue in Elmhurst. The suspect displayed a gun and took off with cash and other items. Police are still investigating to determine if they are all related.
