One area closed in Astoria after a male shot

The NYPD closed off 27th Avenue and 4th Street vicinity in Astoria reporting a male shot with more shots fired in the area.

Police has one perp in custody and searching for more suspects.

EMS is working to transport the victim to a local hospital.

ESU recovered shell casings.
