Next one on the expansion mode in NYC

The NYC Mayor's Office announced a new way to fight package theft and that's LockerNYC. Remember, package theft is not a major crime in NYC. Just like bikes, scooters and anything goes for NYC, LockerNYC will be placed at 36 locations, making a total of 70 from the goal of 100. Soon, 1,000 locations will be created in the coming years.

Also, the program also provides to reducing deliveries by trucks by going port to port with peddling devices by workers. This will limit congestion with trucks.

The program is a huge success and has completed the final phases of expansion with locations.

Since its launch in April 2024, New Yorkers have made over 15,000 reservations for secure package pickup and drop-off.

For Queens, western locations from Jackson Heights to Long Island City have the setup at major busy spots.
