Nassau County formed new police division

Today, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman announced the formation of a new Police Strategic Response Unit which is similar to the NYPD SRG. The new task force will deploy all over Nassau County but mainly on the border of Queens along with schools in time for students attending classes next week.

Any vehicle in pursuit from Nassau County will not be stopped within jurisdiction until the perp is caught.

The Nassau County Council of Schools Superintendent who was also in attendance was pleased with this new task force.
