NYC Mayor has 2 new calls for all

Starting September, every Friday during afternoon, there will be a broadcast call from the Islamic community for prayer that can be heard on speakers all over the city. The other one is during Ramadan.

So if one wonders what it is, it's a call to stop, bow and pray.

This came after the Mayor stated in a press statement that the ethnic communities of Islamic faith have gathered and complained of not having a public celebration of such practices.

A public message will be announced spreading the awareness to all to follow in the coming weeks on the broadcast calls conducted by local houses of worship in the area.

NYC will be the second city to broadcast after Minneapolis.
