Burglary investigation from here to there in Nassau County

During the first week of August, the NCPD reported burglaries on Post Avenue and Old Country Road in Westbury. During the week of August 24, the local supermarket, Bravo Supermarket on Post Avenue was broken into by a suspect. Police reported the front door glass was broken and items were stolen overnight. The previous week on August 17, the local Dunkin Donuts reported burglary. This is on Jericho Turnpike near Betty Lane.

This morning, burglaries reported on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park and Floral Park. Two commercial locations between N2 and N4 Streets were burglarized. Also, there were attempted burglaries in Floral Park on the route to Hempstead Turnpike where more burglary attempts were reported. A witness stated AutoZone in East Meadow reported to the police of an intruder alert.

Police are now patrolling the recent routes as they believe it may be the same groups wanted for burglaries.

All incidents are under investigation.
