Building demolished to make way for new one in Floral Park

The Masonic Temple renamed as Centennial Hall and later served as Floral Park Historical Society which remained empty for a long time was demolished this week to make way for apartments. This is on the corner of Tulip Avenue and Carnation Avenue near Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park.

In 2019, it was sold to a developer for $1.2 million after Floral Park Village brought it for $1.5 million with a $2 million bond.

There are four plans submitted to the lot for development with one for offices and another one for medical offices ground floor with apartments above. The other two plans were not disclosed.
