NYC Correction Officer died after medical on JFK Expressway

Police reported a 36 year old male Correction officer with NYC died after suffering a heart attack on JFK Expressway in South Ozone Park.

It happened around 12:30am near Rockaway Blvd.

Police reported the officer's vehicle, Infinti FX35 struck a guard rail after losing control and came to a stop on the left lane.

His name has not been released.
