NY Governor has a message for subway crimes

The NY Governor announced the expansion of 750 national guards to check bags, adding more security cameras and a bill to ban those convicted of violent subway crimes from the MTA for three years. Another 250 state troopers will also be included.

This came after the NYC Mayor was sidetracked by the majority of the City Council members who support defunding NYPD and no bails for career criminals.

The 1,000 plus law enforcement will be positioned at the busiest locations around the city.

Also, the Governor announced $20 million committed to the mental health crisis since NYC doesn't have much budget due to migrant crisis which is the number one priority.

So if you were stopped for a bag check, you just comply or can’t enter the train.
