A pedestrian struck by vehicle dead in Flushing

Police have closed off College Point Blvd in Flushing reporting a female pedestrian struck by vehicle died. This is by Blossom Avenue near the local park. ESU, EMS and FDNY are also on the scene. The victim died on the way to the hospital.

College Point Blvd is closed for investigation.

Highway CIS is on the scene working.

Heavy delays all around.

Avoid the route.
