Moriah Center male arrested for robbery

On September 10, 2025, New York State Police arrested Justin M. Sprague, age 29, from Moriah Center, NY, for first-degree robbery.

At approximately 8:34 a.m. on the same day, police responded to a robbery complaint on Route 9 in the town of Ausable. Their investigation revealed that Sprague had stolen items from the victim while threatening them with a knife. He left the scene with the stolen items before law enforcement arrived.
