Mayoral and council candidates campaigning in Bayside

Republican candidate for the mayor race, Curtis Silwa is campaigning along with NYC council candidate, Vickie Paladino. They are joined by locals on Bell Blvd in Bayside talking to residents of quality issues as both are pro-cop and support NYPD instead of defunding them. The primary is on June 22. Paladino won the Republican election last year but lost to John Liu in the main one. This time, Paladino has more supporters compared to last election. The other opponent is Tony Avella for the Democrat side. As for Silwa, his chance between Fernando Mateo running in the Republican ticket against the Democrats, the odd is one long shot unless residents want a safer NYC with NYPD.
