Man found dead outside a church in Merrick

Police reported a man was found dead outside a church in Merrick. The incident was reported on Friday around 5:30pm. This is in front of Mar Thoma Church on Merrick Avenue. The body is of a male, 60's and black. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Ongoing investigation.
