Male shot after targeting in Astoria

On Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm, a lone suspect entered a Bangladeshi restaurant in Astoria and shot a worker. Police reported this was a target attack.

This is on 36th Avenue at Boishaki eatery near 30th Street.

EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital where he is now in stable condition.

The eatery owner told the media that this is the second attack at the location where a customer was hit on the head.

The suspect is male, Indian and police are on the search to track him down.
