It s only 7 billion for screen doors inside the NYC subways

Starting this summer, the Mayor's Office confirmed three subway stations will have screen doors to prevent people from being pushed into tracks. This is for serial pushers without bails except for homicides.

Also the setup will prevent people from falling down onto the tracks for unknown reasons.

The three locations are Sutphin Blvd Archer Avenue in Queens, Third Avenue in Brooklyn and Times Square in Manhattan.

The cost is around $100 million to install at three locations including "brainstorming” or reading of the minds.

Of 427 stations, it will cost $7 billion per 127 ready to install according to MTA from the 2019 report.

According to the Manhattan Borough Office who championed for screen doors believe people will be safe from predatory pushers.
