Local council member robbed in Flushing

On Thursday around 9pm, local NYC Councilmember Peter Koo was robbed of his phone. The incident happened on Colden Street and 45th Avenue in Flushing. Police reported three males, black in their teens approached Koo in masks in the lobby of his residence. After minor rukus, all suspects ran out after screaming. Police arrested one after the same perp tried to rob another victim near the park on Booth Memorial Avenue. Two more perps were outstanding but later reported in custody. Due to bail reform, the arrested suspects are free without bail and back in the area.
