Local Fresh Meadows politician announced for DA

Local NYC Councilman Rory Lancman has announced his campaign to run for Queens District Attorney currently occupied by Richard Brown.

Brown, 85 has been the DA since 1991. Lancman is running on "No Cash Bail" stating as long as someone is arrested for low level crimes can be released with payment arraignment instead of being remanded at Rikers Island. He already got two endorsements, the mothers of Eric Garner and Sean Bell.
