Hotels to affordable housing in NYC

The NYC mayor and NY Governor passed the new bill, The Hotel Conversions Bill. This will allow hotels to use as affordable housing for those seeking a place to stay.

Since hotels don't have kitchens, food will be arranged for all with menu brochures on a daily basis.

Hotels can apply to be under this program. The priority goes for the hotels that housed homeless earlier under then Mayor de Blasio.

This goes for Queens hotels that formerly housed the homeless.

Beside food, utilities, cable, internet and snacks are provided by the taxpayers. In order to get into the hotel, check with a local non profit center sponsored by the city for the application. They have the advantage due to making hefty donations to the election campaigns.
