Hit and run with one dead on South Ozone Park

The NYPD reported a hit and run with one dead in South Ozone Park. The incident was reported last night around 10pm in the vicinity of 149th Avenue and 121st Street. Police say a victim, male, was riding the moped when a wrong-way driver struck him.

The suspect driver also hit multiple parked vehicles before taking off toward an unknown direction.

The victim lived nearby and police notified his family.

So far no arrests.
