From LIC to Elmhurst and vice versa reported armed robberies from online sales

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of two suspects wanted for armed robbery of multiple victims in Queens. The incidents reported in the vicinity of 108 and 110 Precincts occurred in Corona, the most and Astoria.

According to a witness, the incidents all related to online sales from marketplace social media. The latest incident occurred on May 31.

The suspects used fake accounts to target victims at an agreed location for sales exchange. Then took off in a white sedan Honda Accord with tinted windows.

The NYPD is advising all to meet at the local precinct for online marketplace sales exchange instead of local streets.

EMS reported no major injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
