Nine candidates confirmed for the NYC Mayoral debate tomorrow

NYC, the city where love wins, will have the first debate tomorrow for the Democratic primary. Nine qualified candidates confirmed which will take place at the Rockefeller Center studios without an audience.

Finally, the front runner Andrew Cuomo will be in the spotlight and eight candidates are all eying him but new rules are in place.

Beside Cuomo, the other names are Adrienne Adams, Michael Blake, Brad Lander, Zohran Mamdani, Zellnor Myrie, Jessica Ramos, Scott Stringer and Whitney Tilson.

It will be on NBC and Telemundo at 7pm for one hour with a short break. Due to the one hour limit, there won't be any opening or closing statements by the candidates. The moderators will ask questions to selected candidates and answer. Microphones will be turned off to those candidates who ignore time rules and warnings from moderators.

The moderators are anchor David Ushery, reporter Melissa Russo, Telemundo 47 anchor Rosarina Bretón and senior editor of Politico Sally Goldenberg.

The current Mayor will not be participating due to the Independent party line.

The winner of the Democratic primary will face the current Mayor and the Republican winner for the general election in November.

NYC where 3.1 million locals depending on public benefits under democracy will decide who gets to be their next Mayor usually from the Democratic party.

We all know St Andrew of Rona gave New Yorkers the tough fight against the pandemic and his always response to all problems, "It's Trump's fault." became a trademark for the city.
