Fresh Meadows on alert onto Brooklyn suspects

The NYPD issued a warning on Fresh Meadows residents reporting a group are now targeting victims mainly for carjacking. The latest incident was reported on Friday, April 25 around 9pm where a victim was carjacked in the vicinity of the local park, Cunningham Park. A witness said the suspects were targeting victims in the parking lot waiting to leave to follow.

Police are now patrolling the area as of Friday.

EMS treated the victim on the scene.

Police say the victim was pushed out of the BMW X3 while one of the suspects displayed a weapon.

Then took off with the vehicle toward the Grand Central Parkway westbound to the JRP Brooklyn bound.

So far no arrests.
