Three separate homicide investigations on Long Island

On April 26 around 2:30pm, a road rage resulted with one dead in the vicinity of New Hyde Park. The NCPD reported the dispute started on the LIE eastbound between a pickup and motorcyclist which resulted with the latter dead on the South Service Road by New Hyde Park Exit. Detectives arrested the pickup driver, male, 64, who was coming from western NY to see his family when the incident occured. The medical examiner transported the body of the motorcyclist who was from the Bronx to conduct an autopsy.

The same day around 6pm, a dispute turned into stabbing in Bay Shore. This is in the vicinity of Saxon Avenue and Essex Street. EMS transported the stabbed victim to a local hospital in critical condition. Police has one in custody charged with attempted murder.

Today, the NCPD stated the body found floating on April 8 by the Railroad Place dock was of a male, Hispanic, between 15 and 20 with no known address is a homicide. The victim was stabbed multiple times and the body was dumped in the water. Police did not disclose if this is gang related.

All three incidents remain under investigation.
