Floral Park resident remembered after crash in Westbury

The NCPD closed off the Northern State Parkway westbound reporting a vehicle accident with one dead. The incident was reported last night around 1:30am in Westbury. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy. Police say this was a single crash when the car went into the woods. Also police say the vehicle, Mustang was removed from the scene cleared for traffic this morning.

EMS reported no one else was injured.

The dead has been identified as a Floral Park resident.

The investigation continues.
