Douglaston public library to close for maintenance

Starting February 22, the Douglastion public library will be closed for maintenance. The library is expected to open on March 16 at the location, 249-01 Northern Blvd. According to the Queens Library spokesperson, Ewa Kern-Jedrychowska, the location will conduct a soil assessment in preparation for razing and rebuilding the library. During the three weeks of closure, there will be a mobile truck parked from 10 to 5pm starting February 27.
