Cornavirus update for Saturday

Governor reported 783 New Yorkers died since yesterday totaling 8,627.
De Blasio stated that NYC public schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. Students will continue with Remote Learning for the rest of the 2019-20 school year. However, the Governor stated that the mayor can't make that decision without regional coordination.
Homeless deaths reached to almost 30 with 343 tested positive and almost 100 hospitalized from shelters according to NYC social services commissioner Steven Banks.The mayor stated of 600 homeless have been relocated to hotels and more are underway.
The New York Taxi Workers Alliance reported 28 drivers had died mostly Queens residents.
Mayor will not open new streets for pedestrians under watch by NYPD after social distancing is working.
COVID19 is added under NYC Human Right Law under disability discrimination.
