Commercial burglary continue to rise from Glen Oaks to Little Neck

The NYPD reported residential burglaries as usual in the Glen Oaks to Little Neck vicinity. Now commercial burglaries continue to increase. Union Turnpike from 263rd Street to Commonwealth Blvd reported the most incident of commercial burglaries followed by Northern Blvd and Little Neck Parkway.

A local store say wifi scambler is a tool used to gain entry without breaking doors or windows in Glen Oaks. Some of the retailers are now adding new technologies by legal means to safeguard inventories and removing safe boxes.

Most of the incidents occurred late night to early morning.

The investigation continues.
