Cars to bikes carjacking incidents from Flushing to Corona

The NYPD reported armed bike thefts by force are increasing in Corona while carjacking in Flushing.

There were eight incidents of victims being robbed of scooters, motorcycles, mopeds and other bike equipment in Corona in the last two weeks. Most targeting delivery workers according to the local retailers involving their workers. Police described the suspect groups as males, Hispanics.

The latest carjacking incident was reported in Flushing. The incident was reported on Sunday around 8pm in the vicinity of 160th Street near Pidgeon Meadow Road near the local park.

Police described the suspects as males, Hispanics with two displayed weapons. Then robbed and pushed out the victim driver from a Mercedes Benz GLE350. The suspects took off with the vehicle. EMS treated the victim on the scene.

All incidents are under investigation.
