Suffolk County reported two major incidents

On Sunday evening, the SCPD reported two major incidents on Long Island. The first one was a drive-by shooting in Farmingdale. The incident was reported in the vicinity of Banfi Plana North near Boening Plaza. The suspect took off toward the Southern State Parkway. This was inside the industrial complex and police say it was targeted.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

The same evening around 7pm, a single vehicle accident resulted in fatality in West Islip. This is on Union Boulevard near the Robert Moses Causeway overpass.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

Police say speeding maybe the factor and the vehicle has been placed at the local precinct for safeness check.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
