Bayside teen suing Lyft and the driver after recording of sex act

A 14 year old female from Bayside is suing the ride share company, Lyft and the driver Narinderjit Singh after she recorded of masturbating incident inside the vehicle.

The incident happened on October 12, 2018 around 7pm when the victim hailed the app from Bayside for a ride to Flushing.

The victim told police that Singh was staring at her from the rear view mirror and pleasured himself. She managed to record the incident and gave to police.

The company did not cooperate with police during the investigation. After two weeks, police was able to track down the driver identified as Singh. He was taken into custody and charged with lewd acts and endangering the welfare of a child.

Singh pleaded guilty and since has been banned from driving Lyft.

The victim's lawyer, Joe Murray who is also running for the Queens DA's office tracked the driver through NYC T&LC.
