Franklin Square man arrested after overdose investigation

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Franklin Square man on Wednesday, October 17, 2019 at 2:25 p.m. in Franklin Square.

According to Narcotics/ViceSquad Detectives, as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County?s War Against Opioids, detectives were investigating a fatal overdose from Wantagh. The investigation led to the vicinity of Randolph Avenue/Hempstead Turnpike where they arrested the defendant, Jack Gisonda, 54 of 1066 Theodora Street. The defendant Jack Gisonda was found in possession of Morphine Pills. He was arrested without incident.

Defendant Jack Gisonda has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, October 18, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
