e Bike added to CitiBike in NYC

Starting today, NYC will expand electric bikes in various locations. The pedal assist bikes which are banned in NYC especially for delivery workers will be available for residents to ride around.

The current addition is 200 and by June is estimated around 4,000. The price is $5 for e-bike's single trip starting today.

For low income New Yorkers in NYCHA or SNAP recipients, the ride is 50 cents per single destination.

There are currently 150,000 members who are paying an annual fee of $169 and $60 by NYCHA and SNAP.
