Women statues to add in NYC

The mayor's wife, Chirlane McCray announced as part of the program, She Built NYC will have four more statues of women in NYC.

The first statue is in the works for for Shirley Chisholm in Brooklyn. Four more women's names were announced today. They are Billie Holiday, Elizabeth Jennings Graham, Dr. Helen Rodriguez Trias & Katherine Walker.

The statue will be either bronze or stone. Also, NYC Parks announced the statues of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony in Central Park scheduled to setup in September. Currently, there are 150 monuments of different men in NYC and Chisholm is the first woman with the start.
