Woman 65 stabbed multiple times by robbers during Queens home invasion

A 65-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times by a pair of intruders trying to rob her Queens apartment, police said Monday.

The attackers struck at about 5:40 p.m. Sunday at a building on Roosevelt Ave. near Parsons Blvd. in Flushing, police said.

“Everyone would feel scared because she was attacked just while taking out the trash,” a relative of the victim said via text.

As the attackers were checking apartment doors trying to find ones unlocked the victim stepped out of her home to throw her garbage down the compactor chute in the hallway and was confronted.

She was stabbed multiple times, with the duo rummaging through her apartment then running off empty-handed.

Medics took the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens in stable condition.

“She has already been discharged from the hospital and needs to rest at home,” her relative texted Monday. The victim “is still experiencing pain,” the relative added.

The attackers have not been caught.
