9 Injured after NYC school bus accident report

Nine people were left injured following a bus accident in Queens Monday morning.

The incident happened on a Union Turnpike exit ramp between Winchester Boulevard and Glen Oaks School campus around 7:30 a.m., according to an NBC New York report.

Six of the injured were children, according to the report and police. They were all taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Additional details on the accident weren't readily available as of Monday evening.

An investigation remains ongoing.
