Whitestone woman identified as the dead struck by vehicle on Lakeville Road

Police identified the victim struck by vehicle on Lakeville Road and Cumberland Avenue as Marie Ortiz, 77 of Whitestone.

The incident happened on November 26 around 6:30pm.

The driver, a male, 61 remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.
